Moral Rearmament may offer an ideological alternative to Yussef al Ayeri's brand of takfiri Salafism that is the theological basis for ISIS' approach. However I am not sure that the raw kind of Moral Rearmament needed still exists. It is not the love in MRA that matters. That we all have I would trust. It is not the honesty. Again, MRA makes a thing of that but then so do many. It is the selflessness, which is a fearless approach. And the purity, which enshrines a rejection of materialism (and indeed purity as advocated by Gandhi would demand the further step of non-violence). And of course there is MRA's distinct form of Sufism. Because in essence MRA was and is a movement for selfless puritan sufism.
